Hey folks, after doing a lot of research and asking some questions (see the one a few days ago about starting...) I bought a 1996 Savage today. The start problem was not a problem - the bike had been in storage and the person giving the demo did not prime. Started up first try each time today. Anyway, I love the bike and it looks brand new and I think I got a great deal. I found this site to be extremely valuable and I appreciate all the help you gave me. I can't wait to get back on it! I'm going to sign up as a regular member now.
